Our Story
Le Passeport Culinaire platform was founded and developed in 2016 by Marianne Abou Jaoudé as a culinary and wine travel club. Marianne was motivated by a passion to embark on unique and memorable culinary experiences and seek the authenticity and the story behind the noble and terroir products in France and Italy.
The platform showcases gastronomy and wine experiences in France and Italy and shed light on the importance of culinary/ gastronomy/ wine tourism and the benefits it brings to the local communities. At Le Passeport Culinaire, we encourage small, local and independent establishments and businesses. “Tasting Lebanon” promotes the Lebanese regions through a network of local food ambassadors that unveil the culinary traditions of the rural areas and engage the participants in gastronomy and wine experiences.
Le Passeport Culinaire serves as the mother brand of Taste the World, Tasting Lebanon, and Whisknroll (a social recipes platform connecting home cooks and amateurs with professional chefs), all founded by Marianne Abou Jaoudé, along with Guesthouses Lebanon, founded by Nour Azzi.
