
FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR
Marianne Abou Jaoudé is a hospitality and culinary tourism expert with over 23 years of experience in the industry. She is the Founder and Managing Director of Le Passeport Culinaire and holds the Certified Culinary Travel Professional (CCTP) certificate from the World Food Travel Association. She also has a Master’s degree in Culture and Tourism Engineering and a BA in Hospitality Management.
Marianne is currently the Deputy General Manager at the Mir Amin Palace Hotel in Beiteddine, Lebanon, and previously served as the Director of Food & Beverage at Le Bristol Hotel in Beirut. Passionate about food tourism, she has spent years exploring culinary experiences worldwide, from châteaux and farms to Michelin-starred restaurants.
In addition to her professional roles, she is a lecturer at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Tourism & Hospitality Management, where she teaches both Master’s and Bachelor’s courses in hospitality and tourism management. She is also pursuing an Executive Doctorate of Business Administration at the Université de Nice, Côte d’Azur.
Marianne has spearheaded innovative initiatives such as “Tours by Local Food Ambassadors,” gourmet and wine tours, guest table experiences, and “Whiskn’Roll”—a platform connecting home cooks with chefs and local producers. Her work focuses on creating authentic and immersive culinary experiences that celebrate local talent and cultural heritage.
